The Spanish footballer will swap Nike for Adidas, who are also the kit suppliers for Los Blancos, and he is already training in their boots.
Real Madrid's out of favour midfielder Isco has reached an agreement with sports brand Adidas to wear their boots, AS has learned.
Isco swaps Nike for Adidas
The Málaga-born player, who until 2018 used rival company Nike, accepted the offer from the German brand, which has bet heavily on him. Nike had fought to retain the Madrid man, still a huge iconic figure with the fans, but Adidas convinced him to make the change.
This strong backing from Adidas comes at arguably the worst period of the player's sporting career, proving that they have confidence in him turning the situation around. This move will have Isco being top to tail in the company's brand, with the famous three stripes already part of the fabric of Los Blancos' kit. AS has been made aware that the agreement between the player's representatives and the company is now complete and, in fact, Isco has already been using Adidas boots in recent training sessions. With this new addition, Adidas can now boast an impressive list of Real Madrid players on their books. Currently they also supply boots for Keylor, Nacho, Reguilón, Marcelo, Odriozola, Kroos, Benzema, Bale, Reguilón and Lucas Vázquez.
