Harry Kane back in training with eye on return date
Following his injury in January, the Tottenham Hotspur striker has been working hard to get back to fitness and already has a planned date.
Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane returned to training with his teammates on Tuesday, for the first time since he injured his ankle ligaments on 13 January.
Kane targets return to action
The recovery process of the English striker has gone faster than initially expected, and could actually result in him being included in the team to face Burnley this weekend in the Premier League.
If that game comes too early, and with Spurs continuing to pick up wins without their talisman he will not be risked, his main objective is to be ready to face London rivals Chelsea, at Stamford Bridge, on 27 February.
During the absence of Kane, Tottenham have been eliminated from the two domestic cups, however, have maintained their position near the very top of the Premier League table. They have also put themselves in a great position to qualify for the Champions League quarter-finals after an impressive 3-0 first leg win at Wembley against Borussia Dortmund.
