Ancelotti's polite response to Cerezo's comments on Real Madrid's 5 Champions Leagues
Enrique Cerezo claims that two of the Champions Leagues which Madrid won against Atleti weren't valid. Ancelotti, who won one of them, gave his reply.
Atlético Madrid president Enrique Cerezo claims that two of the Champions Leagues which Real Madrid won against Atleti don't count. Carlo Ancelotti, who won one of them - La Décima in Lisbon, took it with typical good humour. This was his response: "Why does he think they don’t count?” Ancelotti laughed. “I don’t really know what to say. Madrid won those Champions League deservedly. They faced a very tough rival because Atlético has been, and is, a very strong side. And I hope that one day, Atleti, is able to win the Champions League”.
