Schuster: "Solari should have brought Bale on first"
The German gave his opinion to El Transistor about Bale's display in Levante: "If you send Bale, Asensio and Valverde to warm up, the first player to come on has to be Bale".
Real Madrid gave a dismal impression in last night's 1-2 win at Levante. Both of the team's goals came from the penalty spot and the winner, tucked away by Gareth Bale, left us with one of the talking points of the weekend. Bale seemed in no mood to celebrate his goal and when Lucas Vázquez ran over to give him a congratulatory hug, he was rebuffed by the Welsh winger.
According to to La SER, Bale isn't happy with some of his team mates - and especially with Marcelo and Thibaut Courtois for discussing his private life with the press. However, Bernd Schuster had another theory as to why the Madrid player wasn't happy.

Schuster explained to Onda Cero's El Transistor programme that he didn't agree with Solari's substitutions and that was probably a more likely reason for Bale being angry. The Madrid coach sent Bale, Marco Asensio and Fede Valverde to warm up it was the Uruguayan who ended up coming on first, replacing Toni Kroos on 69 minutes. Schuster thinks that decision hurt Bale, who entered the pitch four minutes later: "If you send Bale, Asensio and Valverde to start warming up, the first player you have to bring on is Bale; if you bring one of the other two on, it's going to annoy Bale and that's what happened".
