Marcelo's obscene insult towards Real Madrid teammates
It required captain Sergio Ramos to step in during training to deal with the Brazilian who has found himself spending much of the season on the bench.
An insult from Marcelo towards his teammates caused a bit of a stir during Real Madrid's final training session ahead of their trip to Valladolid. The Brazilian, who has dropped down the pecking order under Santiago Solari, won his mini game and then uttered the phrase: "Now, you're gonna suck me off!"
Marcelo insults Madrid squad
It was at this point that Sergio Ramos, in his capacity as captain and who was on the other team, intervened and reproached him for the comment, one that was interpreted as a lack of respect for the squad and also the coach.
The relationship between a significant section of Los Blancos squad and Marcelo has been somewhat muddied in recent times, especially since the Brazilian moved to the subs bench. Some of his comments have not been appreciated in the dressing room and his departure this summer has not been ruled out. Juventus is the club that seems most interested in taking him in and, as published by As, Cristiano Ronaldo is playing a role in making the move a reality. Isco finds himself in similar circumstances, with his attitude to the group being questioned.
