14-year-old rider Marcos Garrido killed in Jerez
Garrido suffered a fatal accident between corners two and three of the Ángel Nieto racetrack in the Andalucía SuperSport 300 championship.
Marcos Garrido Beltrán, a 14 year-old motorbike rider, died this Sunday at Jerez University Hospital after being involved in an accident at the Ángel Nieto racetrack during the Andalucía Supersport 300 championship.
The Cardoso Racing rider was involved in an accident between corners two and three of the Andlausian track when another bike crashed into him. Track medical services attended Garrido after the collision and he was urgently transferred to hospital, however he died of his injuries an hour after being admitted.
The Andalusian Federation released a statement sending condolences to the rider's friends and family.
