Interest to sign AS Roma player Nicoló Zaniolo has intensified with both Real Madrid and Juventus interested in securing the services of the 19-year-old according to Italian outlet Sportmediaset. The Italian international has been on Madrid's radar since the 2018-19 Champions League game at the Bernabéu, where, despite the negative 3-0 result for the Serie A side, Zanolio  delivered an accomplished display.

AS Roma are now doing all in their power to retain the midfielder who has burst onto the Serie A scene this season as one of the most promising domestic players in the league. At present Zaniolo is not contemplating a renewal with his current side and Roma won't accept bids of less than 60 million euro for the Tuscany born player.

Real Madrid sent scouts to watch the player in action recently in Porto as the "Giallorossi" exited the Champions League at the hands of their Portuguese opponents. Just this week, the player secured his Italian debut with the senior team, coming on to substitute Marco Verratti as the "Azzuri" beat Finland in Italy's opening UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying match.
