Ancelotti insists Koulibaly won't be sold amid interest from Real Madrid
The Napoli manager says Koulibaly is staying at the club and that the Italian side are not forced to sell in order to make capital gains in the market.
Napoli do not want Kalidou Koulibaly to leave the club. On Friday, As reported that the number one obstacle for Real Madrid in signing the defender was Carlo Ancelotti and on Saturday, the Italian manager confirmed his thoughts on any potential sale of his star defender.
"It makes no sense to speak about the market now," he said. "But our club does not need to sell. Allan and Koulibaly are staying."
Koulibaly signed with Napoli in 2014 and at 27 is considered one of the best centre backs in the world. Real Madrid could have a problem on their hands if Raphael Varane leaves in the summer although the signing of Eder Militao should help.
Ancelotti was also quick to rule out a departure for Dries Mertens and says any future he imagines at Napoli is with the Belgian in the team.
