Man City return 2,000 FA Cup semi-final tickets
The Manchester based outfit have been unable to sell their quota of match tickets for the Wembley semi-final against Brighton.
Manchester City have sent back approximately 2,000 match tickets ahead of Saturday's FA Cup semi-final at Wembley stadium where they are pitted to face Brighton and Hove Albion.
The bulk of these tickets (Category Level 2) are priced at a costly 120 pounds (roughly 140 euro) and many reasons have been cited for the reason in not selling out the Wembley allocation...City have three key games coming up (all in London). Brighton in the FA Cup on April 6th, a trip to Tottenham next week in the Champions League quarter final rounded off with a Premier League clash away to Crystal Palace on April 13th.
Travel to and from the English capital on Saturday is another issue facing travelling fans with the last train leaving London for Manchester at 22:24, which with the game starting at 18:30 CEST could be problematic should the semi-final go to extra time and penalty kicks to decide the 2019 cup finalist.
