Rooney loses his rag and sees first red card of MLS career
DC United were 3-0 down against Los Angeles FC when the former England captain lunged into a challenge after losing the ball, and received his marching orders.

Waye Rooney received the first red card of his MLS career for a wild challenge on Diego Rossi with his DC United side 3-0 down.
The former Manchester United and England captain lunged into the LA striker and caught him just below the knee in the 52nd minute of the game.
The incident went to a VAR review, after which the referee sent Rooney off.
