Sky Sports: Jovic signs with Real Madrid on five year deal

The transfer of Luka Jovic to Real Madrid from Eintracht Frankfurt for 60 million euros is a done deal, as revealed by this newspaper back at the start of May, and now Sky Sports are confirming that the striker has put pen to paper to complete the move. The striker has signed with Madrid for five seasons, with a salary of 10 million per season.
Real Madrid plan to present Jovic next week
Real Madrid’s intention is to present the player next week, once Frankfurt’s Bundesliga campaign is over, with the German club vying for a place in the Champions League. Madrid have been cautious about revealing the singing and his presentation at the Bernabéu to avoid upsetting a club they consider a friend, but events are moving fast.
21 year old Jovic arrives at Real Madrid as the second signing of the summer after Militao and is the first new player up front. Jovic has had an outstanding season with Frankfurt, scoring 27 goals, 10 in the Europa League.
Of the 60 million euro transfer fee, 12 million will go to Benfica, who agreed a percentage of any sell-on fee when they sold him to Frankfurt.
