Neymar's €13 million helicopter and given a Batman makeover
The PSG star has decided that an Airbus helicopter personalised in the style of his favourite super hero was needed, and arrived at Brazil's training camp in it.
Neymar Jr, as we all know, does not exactly have inexpensive taste. And his latest purchase, a vehicle that does more than just get him from A to B, joins the collection of his rather plush 'toys'.
Helicopter fun for Batman Neymar
The Paris Saint-Germain star has bought an Airbus H-145, one of the latest helicopter models released by the manufacturer. He has had it painted entirely in black and personalised it inside with motifs of one of his favourite super heroes, Batman.
According to UOL Sport, Neymar arrived at training with the Brazil squad - already together as they prepare for the Copa América - in his new helicopter. They also report that a number of his national teammates have already been on board, including Arthur (Barcelona), Allan (Napoli), Ederson (City), Richarlison (Everton) and Fernandinho (Man City).
Airbus inform us that the helicopter has the capacity for up to 10 passengers (not counting pilot and co-pilot) and is designed for civilian use as well as to aid medical and rescue services around the world. This model is already used by medical teams in Boston and the Canadian Mounted Police and costs a cool 13 million euros.
Neymar's helicopter sports his initials 'NJR' on the underside of the main propeller, and features Batman logos on the seats. It is also painted completely black, just like the vehicles of the Gotham super hero. The Brazilian is a big fan of Bruce Wayne's alter ego and has a Batman tattoo on his right shoulder.
