Vinicius would choose Benzema out of Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi
The Real Madrid winger showed his evasive skills off the pitch as he dodged the difficult questions in Brazil.
Vinicius has shown he knows how to avoid opponents on the pitch in his time with Real Madrid since he started playing for the first team at the start of the 2018/19 season, but in a recent interview in Brazil he's shown he knows how to dodge an uncomfortable question too.
Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi?
The Brazilian 18 year old was interviewed on Aqui com Benja on Fox Sports Brazil and was asked by presenter Benjamin Back about his first year playing at Real Madrid and which player had made the biggest impact on him. "Playing against Barcelona is always different", said the Real Madrid man, which led Benja to ask directly about Messi. "The whole world knows he's one of the best ever" said Vincius, refusing to be drawn any further on whether he's truly the greatest of all time.
And so onto the hardest question: "Who would you choose to play alongside you, Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo?"
"That's a tough one", came the reply, "I've never played with them so I can't say. As of today I'd choose Benzema".
Vinicius' favourite player: Neymar
Vinicius also talked about two former Barcelona players, admitting that Neymar is his hero (and the PSG sends him videos of moves with the ball for him to copy) and recognising the deep admiration he feels for Ronaldinho: "Along with Neymar he's my other favourite player of all time".
