Real Madrid think it's time for Luca Zidane to move on
Madrid will not force the goalkeeper to leave, but hope an offer comes in to satisfy all parties. In France, Ligue 2 outfit Clermont Foot Auvergne are interested.
Zinedine Zidane maybe back at Real Madrid but that will provide no guarantees for the future of his son Luca, who could leave the club this summer. The club have opened the door to the 21-year-old goalkeeper and hope he receives an offer which appeals to him. According to La COPE, ideally, the club would like Luca to go out on loan but it's clear that they are keen for him to move on and let Andriy Lunin settle in in Madrid after his season-long loan at Leganés. Lunin would become on the squad's three keepers - either third choice if Keylor stays, or second choice behind Courtois if the Costa Rican leaves.
Madrid would prefer Luca Zidane to be getting regular playing time and his father's agent Alain Migliaccio will be looking for a club where that can be fullfilled. One offer that has already come in is from French side Clermont Foot Auvergne, who finished 10th in Ligue 2 last season. Clermont is a modest club where Luca would be able to gain experience without pressure.
