Vinicius to cut his vacation short to begin preparations for next season
The Real Madrid striker will begin training in advance of his return to the Spanish capital with one objective on his mind: earn a place in Zidane's team.
Vinicius is currently enjoying what is left of his holidays in Rio de Janeiro before he gets back to training two weeks in advance of his return to Real Madrid to begin the pre-season.
His physio, Thiago Lobo, is due to arrive in Rio on Monday to begin working with the young Brazilian striker, who has his mind set on one objective: earn a place in Zinedine Zidane’s team.
Before he headed off on holidays to Brazil, Zidane had several conversations with Vinicius to convey his confidence in him and to ensure him that he was part of his plans for next season. And the 18-year-old striker wants to put in the maximum effort to show the French coach that his faith in him is warranted.
Vinicius enjoying beach time with friends in Rio
After a long season, Vinicius chose to spend his first summer vacation as a Real Madrid player back home in Rio de Janeiro, where he has been spending his days at the beach surrounded by those closest to him.
His house is located by Barra da Tijuca beach, where he goes to play 'altinha', a rondo-type game on the sand, in which the goal is to not drop the ball. A few days ago, he also took the time to visit his neighbour Ronaldinho, who lives just two doors from his.
The young player always likes to always have a full house and, although he has his family and staff living with him in the Spanish capital, he had been missing his city and friends from the Flamengo youth academy.
