Estados Unidos Update:

The game against Sweden was a night for records as the USWNT continued on the history-making path they set out on at the beginning of the World Cup.

The match started with a firm stance made by the US side, establishing their quality against the team that knocked them out in the most recent Olympic games, ensuring a victory that would leave them top of Group F.

With less than three minutes of the game gone, American midfielder Lindsey Horan got on the end of Rapinoe corner kick to score the first goal of the night.
