According to Le Parisien, PSG have scaled further down on their original demands for Neymar and will now accept €130m plus two Barça players.

“Today, the door for departure is open,” so claims Le Parisien in their latest report regarding PSG striker Neymar, who has been heavily linked with a return to Barcelona.

First the French daily had reported that PSG were willing to lower their original demands of 300 million euros for the Brazilian striker and would accept 222 million euros, the same figure that they paid Barcelona for him in 2017.

Now Le Parisien is claiming that PSG’s owners would settle for a figure between 130 and 150 million euros plus two Barcelona players, with names such as Coutinhio, Dembele, Rakitic and Umtiti likely to be thrown about in any discussions between the clubs.

Neymar’s Barca return nearing reality

After two seasons in Paris, Neymar is understood to be eager to return to Camp Nou and PSG are seemingly willing to let him go so long as they receive a fitting reimbursement.

Meanwhile, Barcelona’s vice-president has confirmed they are aware of Neymar’s desire to return but said that the club needed to decide if they wanted him back.

"There is willingness on the part of the player and now we have to decide,” said Jordi Cardoner.

"The media have pushed this information along at speed but the decision lies with us and we do not know if it will come to pass or not."

But with PSG now reportedly lowering their demands for the player for a second time, it seems that Neymar’s much-talked about Barcelona return is coming closer to reality.
