Bale's agent met with Inter say SportMediaset, he denies it
The Italian outlet reported that the Real Madrid forward's agent Jonathan Barnett had a meeting with Inter Milan. "It's not true", he replied
Gareth Bale appears more likely than ever to be facing a future away from Real Madrid, particularly with the return of Zinedine Zidane to the dug-out and despite the messages from the Welshman's camp that he wants to see out his contract at the Spanish giants.
In the past few days, the UK press have reported that Bayern Munich have asked for Bale on loan, however his agent, Jonathan Barnett, was quick to scotch those rumours, saying it was more likely he'd win Ascot, a horse race, than that the player would leave Real Madrid on loan.
Now it's the turn of the Italian press to discuss Bale's possible future. According to SportMediaset, Bale's representatives were seen in Italy with Inter Milan executives. The Serie A side are in a process of rebuilding and are desperate to give Conte a competitive team in order to fight for the title. And the Real Madrid number 11 could be seen as a sensible addition to their shopping list.
Barnett denies the Inter Milan rumours
Bale's agent though responded directly to the claims, telling Interdependenza.net, "what they said isn't true".
In addition to Inter Milan, another potential destination for Gareth Bale is Manchester United, who would be able to afford him if they sell Pogba. Meanwhile Bayern Munich are in need of wide-men, having lost Robben and Ribéry, making Bale a logical target.
