LAFC own Los Angeles, says former LA Galaxy player
Hércules Gómez thinks Los Angeles FC's high quality has made the Californian city forget all about his former team.
Former LA Galaxy and current ESPN commentator Hércules Gómez forgot all about his former team while analysing Friday's match between Galaxy and LAFC, saying that Bob Bradley's team have made everyone in LA forget about the Carson California club.
"Bob Bradley has made them play with a certain style that's exciting, everyone here in Los Angeles has bought into it, they have almost forgotten all about Galaxy, this is LAFC's city," said the former US international.
Gómez's reaction goes hand in hand with the excellent 2018 campaign LAFC had, and the way they're sweeping the current season. In his MLS debut year, Carlos Vela's team had the second-best offensive record and finished third in the Western Conference.
This season, Los Angeles FC have played 20 games, winning 46 points and scoring 53 goals to lead the Western Conference and the MLS overall.

For the fourth time, the teams will meet, with LAFC favourites due to their good form; however, although LA Galaxy are down in the betting due to their erratic season, Bradley's side have been unable to beat their cross-town rivals.
The Zlatan vs Vela clash is what's most hotly anticipated, since they're the two best scorers in the league, with Carlos Vela leading the goal charts with 19, followed by Ibrahimovic with 13 goals.
