Hazard-Vinicius-Benzema trident a tantalizing prospect against Bayern
Vinicius shared a photo on social media teasing Real Madrid fans about the prospect of this tantalizing attacking trident being unleashed against Bayern Munich this weekend.
Real Madrid’s pre-season officially gets underway on Saturday as Zinedine Zidane’s new-looking team face Bayern Munich at the NRG stadium in Houston, Texas.
Los Blancos are currently training in Montreal ahead of the trip over the border, where new boys Eden Hazard, Ferland Mendy, Kubo and Luka Jovic are getting to know their new team mates and coming to grips with the methods of Zidane and his coaching staff.
Young Brazilian forward, Vinicius, who went through the same initiation process ahead of last summer’s U.S. tour (although with Julen Lopetegui and not Zidane at the helm), is particularly looking forward to the Bayern clash, where he could potentially partner up in with Karim Benzema and Hazard in attack.

Zidane working overtime with Vinicius
Vinicius, along with new team mate and compatriot Rodrygo, has been registered to play with Real Madrid Castilla (the ‘B’ team) for next season, although Zidane will be expected to call on the youngster over the course of the campaign and could do so on Sunday.
The 19-year-old showed flashes of brilliance last season but had issues in front of goal, which has prompted Zidane to stay back after training to help him with his finishing (by admission of the player himself). Saturday may give fans, and indeed Zidane, a chance to see if that extra work has paid off.
Hazard and Benzema round off Real Madrid trio
One man who has no issues in front of goal is Eden Hazard, who has been settling in well in Canada and already shown his new team mates what he can offer in the final third.
This weekend could see the much anticipated debut of the Belgian in the white of Madrid at the NRG stadium, where fans will be rubbing their hands together at the prospect of the ex-Chelsea man teaming up in attack with Vinicius and Benzema. The French centre forward netted 30 goals last season and will be hoping to keep his prolific streak going over the course of the pre-season fixtures.
