Spurs vs Manchester United: as it happened!

90+3

That was the last chance! GAME OVER as United win thanks to Martial and Gomes strikes. Spurs pulled one back through a Moura deflected effort before Gomes, the 18-year-old, ruined their hopes.

90+2

Spurs work a corner short and it makes its way across the box. Shot blocked by Lindleof. Comes back in and Moura heads just wide.

90+1

Son with a shot and that ends up in the stands. Frustrating for Spurs.

90

We will have three minutes of added time.

90

Shot comes in and Romero saves. Spurs can't get that second equaliser.

89

Lamela drives forward and plays to Moura, who is tripped up by Lindleof.

87

Rashfrd wins the ball back and attacks now but he slows down and the ball is kicked out for a throw.

84

RASHFORD GOAL! But it won't stand as he was offside.

80

GOMES GOAL! That is an incredible run and finish. He took the ball on the left, combined for a one-two with Mata and showed really close control before finishing from a tough angle. 2-1.

79

A nice ball from the right but no United players to meet it at the edge of the penalty area.

77

After a quick cool down, we are back in action.

We will have another 3 minute cooling break.

72

Cross comes in from Dalot on the right. It's headed out for a corner.

70

Marsh for Tanganga.

67

Rashford pulled down by White. Free for United as they look to go back ahead.

65

GOAL! Another fairly tame one as Romero gets sold out by a deflection. It was Moura who scored from the strike. He got slightly lucky though. 1-1.

60

Fred has a crack and Gazzaniga gets down well to save it.

55

Eric Bailly is after injurying his knee, it looks like. he has to be stretchered off after trying to walk off the field.

54

Son with a chance as he cuts in from the left. He's offside though.

52

Son taken down by Matic. He has certainly brought a spark to Spurs attack.

50

Perfect ball over the top to Son as he beats the offside trap. As Romero comes off his line, Son sees a chance. He chips it but it lands on the roof of the net. Lovely effort.

49

United with the better start here in the second half.

Rojo off for United and Lindleof on. Dalot on for Wan-Bissaka and Martial for Rashford too. Greenwood replaced by Lingard. Finally, Gomes on for James and Bailly came on for Smalling with De Gea replaced by Romero and McTominay for Matic. Pogba switched out or Fred and young for Shaw with Pereira off for Mata.

Kane and Parrott off for Spurs. Son and Lamela on. Foyth on too for Walker-Peters.

47

A raft of changes for both sides.

46

We are back underway for the second half!

It was quite scrappy but some good chances from both sides.

Pogba didn't have much to do in that first half but he did take a really nice shot at the end of the 45.

45+1

HALF-TIME!

45

Pereira looks for Martial again but it's cut out this time by Spurs. A little bit too congested for United in front of Spurs' penalty area. Ball back to De Gea in the end! United attac one more time before the break. Daniel James with a move forward and it's played to Pogba as he launches it towards goal. That was a rocket but it went wide.

43

Martial a little aggressive again in his pursuit of the ball. He wins it this time but the referee says he pushed Vertonghen in the back to get it. He's not happy but it looked like a foul.

38

Pereira slides in and cleans out Kane. Nasty challenge in a friendly. The referee obviously thinks the same as he gives the United player a yellow.

37

Tanganga gets the ball lost under his feet and Martial sees a chance to nick it but he just bundles him over instead.

36

United threaten again. Greenwood races through by Tanganga passes back to Gazzaniga and he clears.

35

Kane with the ball out to Walker-Peters but he's slowed all the way down by Ashley Young. Cross comes in and Georgiou wins the throw for Spurs.

33

We are back in business now afer the water break.

A hydration break in the stifling heat. It's 32 degrees with 71% humidity.

30

Kane free now but it's miles out. It looks like he is shaping up for a crack at this! It's fairly central so it might make sense. He does shoot but sends it over the bar. Way, way over the bar.

29

Ball sent down to Kane in the middle but it dribbles back to De Gea. Spurs frustrated so far. They've looked decent in spells but United more organised and effective.

27

Kanes takes off down the left. He says he was fouled by Rojo before it was kicked off him for a throw to United.

27

Sissoko throws James to the ground again.

24

James taken out and stood on, it looked like, by Walker-Peters. There's some meaty challenges flying in and now there's after as Kane, Young, Sissoko and Pereira get involved. United not happy with some of the challenges flying in.

22

MARTIAL! Goal. Ball slipped through to him and he struck with his right from a touch angle. Gazzaniga beaten at his near post and that will go down as a mistake. Pereira with the ball through.

21

Wan-Bissaka throw now as United increase the pressure.

18

Kane wins the ball off Young after the United player tried to backheel it off his opponents to put it out for a throw. Kane's cross is poor but Spurs keep the ball. Another failed cross from the right as it's blocked away and then United win a free as Parrott commits a foul. Spurs have looked good in attack but missing something in the penalty area.

16

Nope. It's Young and Gazzaniga, the former Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper, saves.

16

Ashley Young eyes this one up. Pereira possible with his left foot standing over it too.

15

Sissoko arrives late on James and it's a free. Fairly dangerous challenge from the Spurs player. He put his hand up and knew he had done wrong mid-tackle.

14

Walker-Peters crosses and it's blocked. Pogba with a poor pass to a teammate on the edge of the penalty area.

13

Another United corner as Pereira lines it up. Another nice delivery from the Brazilian but it's cleared at the front post this time. United keep the ball in the final third before Spurs win it back. Kane fouled.

12

McTominay taken out late by Dele Alli and he gets himself booked very early.

11

Spurs settle things back down again now.

10

Dele Alli with the right-footed strike and De Gea saves for a corner. Spurs first real chance.

9

Lovely corner from Pereira as Spurs get it away. They're under increasing pressure here as United come to life.

8

Great ball across to Greenwood from McTominay as he crosses it in and causes problems for Spurs. United threatening as Wan Bissaka crosses now and wins the corner.

6

Dele Alli with a clumsy and late challenge on Wan-Bissaka. Free for United.

5

Martial rattles the post! Another mistake by Spurs as United break. He launches it across Gazzaniga, beats him but can't beat the post.

4

Pereira drives forward after a mistake by Spurs. He tries to thread one through to Greenwood, who has peeled off, but it's cut out by Spurs. They are back on the ball and are dominating possession here early on.

3

Ball clipped in over the top and Kane is sniffing around. Smalling lets it bounce before heading it back to De Gea.

2

Parrott is fouled by McTominay on the sideline and Spurs win the ball back.

1

We are underway!

Kane and De Gea up for the toss as we wait for something.... I'm not entirely sure what. De Gea walks off after throwing the ball to the referee. He sends Ashley Young up instead.

Warm-ups done now as Solskjaer is interviewed ahead of the game.

Some info on Hongkou Stadium.

The stadium has 3 squash courts inside and a climbing wall, which was rebuilt in early 2009. The stadium is currently used mostly for football matches and it is the home stadium of local football team Shanghai Greenland Shenhua F.C.. It also hosted the final of the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup. The stadium also was the home of Shanghai Guotai Jun'an Yongbo Women's F.C., a local women's football team, in 2016 season.

Son Heung-min has received a hero's welcome during Tottenham's tour of Asia and Mauricio Pochettino dubbed the 27-year-old "an icon" and even went so far as to compare him to David Beckham.

Plenty of United fans in Shanghai today.

Spurs didn't spend any money last summer but they've already shelled out €60 million for Tanguy Ndombélé. He starts today as Pochettino tries to get him to settle in. Lo Celso has also been linked and Spurs aren't done spending this summer you'd think.

No Alderweireld but he says he is completely focused on Spurs. That might change though.

17-year-old Ireland youth international starts for Spurs again as Pochettino seems to believe in him. He got gametime last time out too. He started and played really well against Juventus before being taken off at half-time.

Spurs XI: Gazzaniga, Walker-Peters, Tanganga, Vertonghen, Georgiou, Winks, Sissoko, Ndombele, Dele, Parrott, Kane.

Pogba also starts in midfield and is the most experienced player there. He will be looked to as the driving force for them today and will be tasked with creating too.

Greenwood gets another start after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer compared him to Ryan Giggs. He is set for a big jump this season and the manager is obviously trying to get him comfortable playing at the top level. He's just 17 and patience is needed but he looked the part against Inter Milan.

Manchester United XI: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Smalling, Rojo, Young, McTominay, Perreira, Pogba, Greenwood, James, Martial.

In Spurs last game against Juventus, Kane hit the winner from the halfway line!

Shanghai all set for the all Premier League clash.

Spurs have their own mini-saga going on with Toby Alderweireld. He has been linked with a move away from the London club but he insists that he is completely focused on Spurs and says he will be there next season.

Paul Pogba's situation rumbles one and while Real Madrid are determined to land him, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is making sure he doesn't say or do anything that would cause an irrepairable rift. He says the Frenchman hasn't been a problem for even at United. Let's see if he plays today!

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of Spurs vs Manchester United in the ICC 2019 from China! Kick-off at 13:30 CEST.
