Pogba: Raiola mentions Juventus to put pressure on Real Madrid
The Italians would welcome Pogba back with open arms but they can't finance a suitable deal while Raiola and Pogba wait to see Real Madrid's response.
Mino Raiola wants to get Paul Pogba out of Manchester United and will do what he can to achieve that goal. The Italian agent has until Thursday August 8 (it's almost impossible that Manchester United will let him go once the English transfer market closes) and as he waits for Real Madrid's next move, Juventus' name has been brought up as a possibility.
Pogba has a great relationship with the club and many of the current players. He would be welcomed back and while his first choice remains Real Madrid, he sees a move back to Serie A as a viable option too.
Fabio Paratici, Juventus' sporting director, has spent the last couple of days in England negotiating a deal with Manchester City for Joao Cancelo and Danilo heading the other way. Another deal he has been discussing is in the red half of Manchester as Lukaku remains a possibility. The first one is close to completion but Paulo Dybala doesn't want to join United and so the second deal looks unlikely in the form of a swap.

Raiola has been in Manchester recently too. Moise Kean, his client, just moved to Everton and the agent took the chance to speak with Manchester United officials about Lukaku's future. Paul Pogba was also brought up. AS have been told, which Tuttosport also report, that Raiola arrived with an offer that included Dybala, Blaise Matuidi and €40 million.
The offer is appealing for United but Raiola is waiting to see what Real Madrid's reaction is. With the English market closing soon, Pogba is impatient. He doesn't want to spend another year at United and he knows that Zidane wants him and only him. Van de Beek is the option in case Pogba's transfer does not materialise but he is not the manager's preferred option.
Raiola has a good relationship with the decision makers in Turin having brought De Ligt to Juventus this summer. Plan A remains Madrid but they have an alternative option. Juventus have brought in almost €60 million for Cancelo and Moise Kean recently but it's still not enough for what United are asking (€170 million approximately).
