Real Madrid named their 19-man squad to face Valladolid at the Santiago Bernabéu (Saturday, 19:00 CEST), with Zidane most notably omitting Mariano Díaz, Ferland Mendy and Álvaro Odriozola for technical reasons.

Other absentees include Hazard and Brahím, who are both injured, and Asensio, who is out with a long-term knee injury. With Modric also suspended, all eyes turn to James to see whether he will finally get a run-out.
