Nacho surprise omission from Zidane's matchday squad
Modric, Odriozola and Mendy return to the Real Madrid squad as they face Villarreal at the Estadio de la Ceramica at 21:00 CEST.
Zinedine Zidane has called up 19 players for his Real Madrid squad ahead of tonight's clash with Villarreal with a 2100 CEST kick-off. The French coach must do without the injured Hazard, Isco, Asensio, Rodrigo, Brahim and James but can call upon the likes of Modric, Odriozola and Mendy who are back in action.
The noticeable absence from the squad is that of defender Nacho. The Spaniard is not injured and has been left out by Zidane on sporting grounds. Keylor Navas is called up and this could be the last time the Costa Rican stopper appears in the Real Madrid colours with his move to PSG imminent.
