Bale, Varane, James and Benzema miss Real Madrid training
Luka Modric proved he is back to full fitness but the absences of Bale, Varane, James and Benzema are worth keeping an eye on for Leganés on Wednesday.
Real Madrid continued preparations for Leganés on Wednesday with no game at the weekened to occupy their thoughts. They trained at Valdebebas without Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Raphael Varane and James Rodríguez.
The quartet, according to the club, worked inside the training facility on the outskirts of Madrid while Nacho and Marco Asensio continue their recovery processes that keeper them out for the longer term.

Varane and Benzema started against Galatasaray and James emerged from the bench in the dying minutes, Bale missed that game and the one previous with a calf issue. Reports on Friday state Bale has asked the club not to release a medical report on his injury, something that is common practice when a player is hurt.
Zinedine Zidane called on Juvenil A Luis shot-stopper Federico López, and he based his session on intense physical work with small-sided games to finish. Luka Modric is back to full fitness and would be ready to play on Wednesday at the Bernabéu. Real Betis are next up after that clash before they play against Galatasaray in the Champions League again.
