Eden Hazard's brother has said that the Real Madrid forward won't need surgery on the ankle injury he suffered against Paris Saint-Germain late last month.

Hazard "back in two or three weeks", says brother Kylian

Speaking to Spanish television programme Deportes Cuatro on Wednesday, Kylian Hazard, who plays for Belgian club Cercle Brugge, said: "He won't have an operation - he'll be back in two or three weeks.

"He's doing fine, but he's not going to take any risks with his recovery. It's just a question of time and he'll come back stronger.

"He's improving and he'll be back fit in the new year."

Zidane also expects Hazard to avoid surgery on injury

Kylian Hazard's comments follow those of Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane, who yesterday also told reporters that he did not expect Los Blancos' club-record summer signing to go under the knife.

"I don't think so, but nor do I know exactly," Zidane said when asked whether an operation would be required. "I can tell you that right now the injury is under control and I hope it turns out to be better than forecast."
