It’s fair to say that the relationship between Paul Pogba and Manchester United is not at its best.

The huge investment in Bruno Fernandes and the doubts that Pogba has been sowing about his future at Old Trafford has put further distance between the club and from the Frenchman, who has arguably been the club’s best player in the past few years.

According to the English press, the wantaway midfielder has already warned his United team mates that he will leave next summer and the club itself is willing to let him go.

And now latest news to emerge from Manchester is that Pogba will not join his team mates for a winter-break training camp in Marbella, located in Spain’s Costa del Sol.

The 26-year-old playmaker, who had surgery on an ankle injury almost a month ago and is still working on his recovery, has featured in just eight games so far this season. His last full appearance came against Arsenal on September 30, when he played 90 minutes against Arsenal.

New signing Ighalo travel with United squad

United will, however, carry new singing Odion Ighalo to Marbella, according to reports in the UK.

Nigerian forward Ighalo, who joined the Old Trafford outfit on loan from Shanghai Greenland Shenhua until the end of the season to provide cover for the injured Marcus Rashford, will travel with fellow new arrival Fernandes, as Solskjaer’s side get preparations underway for post-winter break fixtures against Chelsea and Club Brugge.
