Real Madrid: First images of Sergio Ramos' new mansion

Television cameras have captured the first images of the mansion being built for Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos and his family on the outskirts of the Spanish capital.

Ramos and Pilar Rubio splash 12m euros on new home

Ramos and his wife, TV presenter Pilar Rubio, are spending 12 million euros on the luxurious 1,500-square-metre residence, which is being built in a 12,000-square-metre estate bought by the couple in 2017.

So far, the progress of the works has been kept under wraps, but this week the Spanish TV programme 'Ya es mediodía' managed to film some images of the outside of the mansion as it takes shape.

Located in the upmarket La Moraleja area favoured by footballers in Madrid, the home looks to be being built to a cutting-edge, modular design and is set to include all the latest advances in household technology.

It has been revealed that Ramos and Rubio, who are currently expecting a fourth child, are to preserve their privacy by constructing high walls around the complex and building the house itself at a slightly lower level than those surrounding it.
