Barcelona's new plan to protect Messi
The Barcelona-based press claim that the LaLiga champions are looking to bring in a number of players to create a more conducive environment for Leo Messi.
After Barcelona’s bitter defeat to Real Madrid in Sunday’s Clásico at the Bernabéu, the Catalan press has naturally turned its attention to the topic of new signings as part of a Camp Nou rebuild.

The Catalan daily reports that El Blaugrana is looking to bring in players that can create a more conducive environment for the club’s 32-year-old talisman, specifically citing a central defender, a central midfielder and centre forward.
In the case of the latter, the club’s favoured option is Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martínez, for whom Barça could offer cash two plus two players this summer, Sport claims.
