Who is currently the best Mexican footballer: Carlos Vela or Raúl Jiménez?
Rodolfo Pizarro was questioned about who is currently the best Mexican soccer player and the 26-year-old gave his opinion about the subject.
Rodolfo Pizarro is one of the big name players to arrive in Major League Soccer this year. The 26-year-old joined Inter Miami the league's new franchise and he has been using social media to stay in contact with his fans during the postponement of the league due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Pizarro was invited to a show on ESPN.com where Tom Marshall asked him about who is currently the best Mexican soccer player and it came down to two names, Carlos Vela and Raúl Jiménez. One playing for LAFC and the other for Wolverhampton in the Premier League.
“I think right now both of them are the best Mexican footballers. It is hard to say who is better because Raúl Jiménez is scoring important goals against important teams like Liverpool in the Premier League, a tough competition, but Carlos Vela is making history in MLS so it is hard to just pick one,” said Pizarro.
