Confirmed India coronavirus cases

As of 04:30 IST, 2 April (00:00 CEST, 2 April) there had been 1,998 confirmed coronavirus cases and 58 deaths in India, where a 21-day lockdown has been in force since last week. 148 people in the country have recovered after contracting Covid-19.

Worldwide coronavirus cases

The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases worldwide at the above time stood at 930,653. In total, 46,774 people have died from Covid-19, while 193,750 have recovered from the disease.
