As of 06:20 IST on Saturday 18 April (02:50 CEST), there had been 14,352 confirmed coronavirus cases and 486 deaths in India. 2,041 people in the country have recovered after contracting Covid-19.

Worldwide coronavirus cases
According to the latest figures published by Johns Hopkins University, 2,240,191 cases have been detected worldwide, with 153,822 deaths and 586,343 people now recovered.
