Madrid-Eibar & Mallorca-Barcelona kick-off times confirmed as LaLiga returns
Javier Tebas appeared on the El Partidazo de Movistar TV show to announce the kick-off time for the first round of fixtures as LaLiga returns.
As of Monday 1 June, football clubs in the top two leagues in Spain, LaLiga Santander and LaLiga Smartbank will hold full training sessions. It will be the first time clubs have been able to resume full training since all sports activities were stopped in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
"Clubs will begin collective training on 1 June after the government's latest health order on the easing of restrictions," LaLiga said in a statement on Saturday.
LaLiga will officially return with the Seville derby set to be the first top flight game on 11 June with an intense few weeks with 39 days of non-stop of football in Spain's top flight to complete the 11 remaining matchdays of the 2019/2020 season. In total there are 110 games to be played, and all in the sweltering heat of the Spanish summer, with mid-day temperatures already well over 30 in much of the country.
