The two Spanish giants will face off in one of the most intriguing Clásicos in recent years on Saturday afternoon. Both sides will try to bounce back from their defeats last time out against Getafe and Cádiz respectively.

It’s going to be the 245th match between the two outfits, tied in number of victories in Clásicos across all competitions, with 96 wins for both (although Real are ahead 73-72 in LaLiga matches). If you're in the US you can tune in on Fanatiz.

The bad news for the hosts is that Marc Andre Ter Stegen won’t be available for the game due to a knee injury, so he will be replaced once again by Neto.

In defence, Samuel Umtiti will be absent again, with knee issues, while teammate Jordi Alba, who has been suffering with a hamstring problem, could be back in the XI after having trained on Thursday. However, the chosen one on the left could finally be Serginho Dest if Ronald Koeman feels unsure about Alba’s fitness.

Sergio Busquets is expected to take the lead in the midfield, while it’s still a mystery what’s going to happen with Antoine Griezmann: Lionel Messi, Ansu Fati, Philippe Countinho, Ousmane Dembélé and Pedri all scored against Ferencváros last Tuesday.

As for Los Blancos, the situation is critical. Especially for Zinedine Zidane, who can’t afford another bad result after a calamitous week, with losses to Cádiz (0-1) and Shakhtar (2-3), both at home.

However, Real are expected to be boosted by the return of Sergio Ramos, after the centre-back missed the game against the Ukranian side due to a knee injury.

Toni Kroos, Vinicius Junior and Karim Benzema are all likely to come into the starting side, while Luka Modric and Casemiro should keep their positions in the midfield.

Dani Carvajal and Martin Odegaard are both still injured while Mariano and Álvaro Odriozola have also stayed in Madrid.
