All the information you need to know on how and where to watch Leipzig host Manchester United at Red Bull Arena (Leipzig) on 8 December at 21:00 CET.

PSG, United and Leipzig are all tied on nine points. The team with the best chance of advancing right now is PSG, as they are expected to beat Başakşehir Istanbul at home (the Turkish side, with three points, have no chance of going through).

Taking into account that the Parisians could grab the three points, that means that either United or Leipzig will be fighting for the other ticket to the knockout stages.

Leipzig will go through if they win

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer’s team will be in the next round if they avoid defeat in Germany, which means the German powerhouse need to win to advance (in case of a draw the goal average favors the 'Red Devils').

Leipzig, sitting third in the Bundesliga, will try to emerge victorious without Lukas Klostermann, Fabrice Hartmann, Konrad Laimer, Benjamin Henrichs and Hwang Hee-chan.

However, Julian Nagelsmann will be able to call upon the services of Dani Olmo, Emil Forsberg and Yussuf Poulsen, who will likely be in the starting XI. If Nagelsmann wants to be more aggressive, he can use the options of Justin Kluivert and Alexander Sorloth.

Kevin Kampl could also feature from the start in midfield together with Marcel Sabitzer, while Dayot Upamecano and Ibrahima Konaté will be in the center of the defence line.

As for United, David de Gea, who missed out with a slight knee issue against West Ham, should be back in action for this crucial match. Axel Tuanzebe could feature together with Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire in defence, with Alex Telles and Aaron Wan-Bissaka in the wing-back positions.

Martial and Cavani out

Midfielder Paul Pogba could also play from the start alongside Scott McTominay, while Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford should be in the starting XI. In normal circumstances, they would be joined by Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani, but they won’t be playing due to muscular injuries, which will give Mason Greenwood the chance to play against the hosts.
