What time is Wonder Woman 1984 released on HBO Max? How and when to watch online
The latest offering from the DC Extended Universe sees Gal Gadot and Pedro Pascal star in the Cold War superhero thriller. Here's everything you need to know to stream it online this Christmas.
One of the biggest cinematic releases this holiday season seas Gal Gadot reprise her titular role in the hotly-anticipated Wonder Woman 1984. The film is the sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman and provides the ninth feature film set in the DC Extended Universe.
Gadot stars alongside Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal in the Cold War superhero thriller, set in 1984. This release has been in the offing for some time now after production wrapped in December 2018, but pandemic disruption has caused a sizeable delay.
Speaking about her experience in the role, Gadot said recently: "The first movie, when I was told I'm going to shoot my own Wonder Woman, I was like, ‘Oh, my God, they're going to find out I’m not a real actress and I can’t do it. They're going to call my bluff. And then Patty [Jenkins, the director] and I did it. We did it together.”

I don't usually have movie memorabilia lying around my house, but this one is so special for me I just had to put it on display. I won't spoil it for you but it's a symbol of strength, of legacy, of hope, I love having it with me to remind me of all that. #WW84 pic.twitter.com/JI9xQ1vERv— Gal Gadot (@GalGadot) December 17, 2020
