Manchester United host Liverpool on Sunday at Old Trafford in one of the most interesting matches of the FA Cup fourth round. **Follow all the action live**

The encounter will take place at an ideal time for the 'Red Devils', as they top the Premier League  with a six-point lead over the current champions.

Fans will be able to enjoy another chapter of one of England’s greatest rivalries, since both teams played each other last weekend at Anfield in a goalless match.

Difficult times for Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp is not having his best days as a coach: his team suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of relegation-threatened Burnley on Thursday, a result that extended their winless league run to five games. Moreover, their 68-match unbeaten league run at home came to an end..

Since they humiliated Crystal Palace 0-7 before Christmas, Liverpool have scored just once in their last five league games and have failed to find the back of the net in any of their last four.

The match comes at the right moment for United

United have made it to at least the FA Cup quarter-finals since 2013-14. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men beat Watford in the third round, making it seven wins and seven clean sheets from their last seven home FA Cup outings.

Moreover, in all competitions the hosts have lost just one of their last 12 outings since they were knocked out of the Champions League by RB Leipzig last December.

Rashford could be back into action

Manchester United could make some changes, with Marcus Rashford returning to action in the starting XI after sitting out against Fulham.

Nemanja Matic, Scott McTominay and Victor Lindelof are in contention for a spot in the pitch, while Solksjaer could also give an opportunity to Dean Henderson and Alex Telles.

The Norwegian coach is aware of Liverpool’s quality and will also call upon key players Bruno Fernandes, Pogba, Harry Maguire and Edinson Cavani. They could all feature from the start.

Henderson out, Salah and Firmino in

As for Liverpool, they will probably be without Jordan Henderson once again after he missed the Burnley game with a muscle strain. Diogo Jota and Naby Keita remain unavailable, while defenders Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez are long-term absentees.

Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino, who didn’t play against Burnley, will likely be included in the starting line.

Joel Matip seems recovered, while Kostas Tsimikas could replace Andrew Robertson. James Milner, Neco Williams and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could play from the start.
