Burger King trolls Eden Hazard after Real Madrid training absence
Burger King has mocked Eden Hazard in a tweet taking aim at the player's fitness following his absence from Real Madrid training on Tuesday.
A Burger King tweet that made a joke about Eden Hazard’s fitness after his absence from Real Madrid’s latest training session has since gone viral.
Hazard’s Madrid career has so far not gone as planned, with the Belgian star having struggled for continuity over the past 18 months due to a seamlessly unending series of injury and fitness issues.
The doubts regarding 30-year-old striker’s fitness had begun on day one, when he arrived at Madrid’s training base looking somewhat overweight after the summer break in 2019 – which prompted several jibes and memes at the time. Since then the doubts and mocking comments regarding his fitness have not gone away.

Now international fast-food chain Burger King has been the latest to make a joke about the former Chelsea man’s fitness.
With Hazard having finally enjoyed a run of games following his return from his latest injury in December, his absence from group training on Tuesday has raised a few eyebrows, with popular Spanish football chat show, El Chiringuito, tweeting: “Hazard didn’t train with the team today. Why?”.
In a cheeky jibe aimed at Hazard, Burger King retweeted El Chiringuito’s comments, accompanied with the message: “2x1 at Burger King” – suggesting he had missed training so he could enjoy the latest two-for-one deal at the fast-food chain.
Hazard reportedly missed training due to some discomfort, meaning he could miss Saturday’s clash with Huesca. However the club has yet to confirm anything regarding the player's absence.
