On Sunday 2 February 2020, Super Bowl LIV hit the Hard Rock stadium in Miami and saw the Kansas City Chiefs take the Vince Lombardi trophy after defeating the San Francisco 49ers. Ahead of Super Bowl LV, which sees the Tampa Bay Buccaneers trying to stop the Chiefs from retaining their title, we reflect on the adverts that went before.

It's one of the biggest sporting events of the calendar and one that has so many eyes on it that even the half-time show and adverts that go alongside it are big, big business.
We saw Jennifer López and Shakira strut their collective stuff at the break, while millions of dollars was spent by brands looking for their few seconds in the global spotlight. FOX sold 77 promotional slots for a record price of 5.6 million dollars.
