The Europa League is gearing up for the business end of the 2020-21 tournament with the draw for the last 16 due to take place on Friday. Tottenham Hotspur became the first side to confirm their presence in the hat after seeing off Wolfsberger in the previous round with the rest of the participants to be decided in the second round of last 32 ties on Thursday.
Sixteen clubs will go into the draw on Friday, in which there will be no restrictions. Depending on results, that could lead to several attractive contests between some of the continent’s biggest sides. The prize on offer for the victors in this season’s tournament is a place in the 2021-22 Champions League.
The final is scheduled to be played at the Stadion Miejski in Gdansk on 26 May.
What time does the Europa League last-16 draw start?
The draw for the 2020-21 Europa League last 16 will take place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, on Friday 26 February 2021, and is due to begin at 13:00 CET.

What draw restrictions are in place?
The gloves are finally off in the Europa League with no seedings and no country protection for the last-16 match-ups, meaning teams from the same national association and those that faced each other in the group stage of this season’s competition can be drawn together.
When will the last-16 ties be played?
The first-leg matches are scheduled to be played on 11 March with the return fixtures taking place a week later in 18 March.
Kick-off times are split between 18:55 CET and 21:00 CET (as per the group stage and round of 32).
The quarter-final and semi-final draws will take place on 19 March.
