Walmart- As usual, Walmart stores will be open for Easter, with most locations open from 7am to 11pm.
Kroger – Superstore Kroger varies a bit more in different locations so it is best to check with your local store, but most are opening from 7am to either 9pm or 10pm on Easter Sunday.
Giant – Anyone hoping to stop into Giant Food Stores this weekend will have to do so soon because, as was the case last year, their branches will not be open on Easter Sunday.
ShopRite – Another that varies greatly in different locations, some will find that their local ShopRite is closed but some are employing reduced hours. Contact your local store.
Whole Foods – Health food market Whole Foods will be open this Easter Sunday but the hours will vary across different stores. Check their online store locator to check hours before heading out.
Safeway – Again, all stores will be open at some point on Easter Sunday but you will need to check with your local branch for the opening hours.
Rite Aid – The national chain will be open on Sunday but the pharmacy’s opening hours will likely vary with shorter hours for Easter.
Walgreens/Duane Reade - The ever-reliable store stays open all year round but it's worth checking to make sure your local store's pharmacy is open if picking up prescriptions. In general, most 24-hour locations will be open from 9am to 9pm this Easter Sunday.
