Bank opening hours on Easter Sunday: Bank of America, Citi, Wells Fargo, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs
If you need to do any banking this Easter your local branch may well be closed on Sunday 4 April as it is a federal holiday and employees with be with their families.
Today, 2 April 2021, is Good Friday and not a federal holiday which means that many businesses and shops will be open, depending on the state you live in. While Good Friday is a public holiday in certain states such as Florida, Indiana, Tennessee and Texas, a number of banks will be open for business as usual from 9 a.m to 6 p.m. These include: Bank of America, BBVA, BB+T, Chase, Citibank, First Citizens Bank, KeyBank, PNC Bank, Santander, SunTrust, TD Bank, Union Bank and Wells Fargo.

All major banks will be closed on Easter Sunday, 4 April although some will be open tomorrow, Saturday 3 April if you have urgent business that cannot be done online or through an ATM. Below is a list of banks' business hours over the Easter period.
Bank of America – open on Saturday from 9:00-14:00; closed on Sunday
BBVA - closed on Saturday; closed on Sunday
BB+T – some branches will be open 9:00-12:00 on Saturday; closed on Sunday
Chase - some branches will be open 9:00-13:00 on Saturday; closed on Sunday
Citibank - some branches will be open 11:00-14:00 on Saturday; closed on Sunday
First Citizens Bank – closed on Saturday; closed on Sunday
KeyBank - some branches will be open 9:00-12:00 on Saturday; closed on Sunday
PNC Bank - some branches will be open 9:00-12:00 on Saturday; closed on Sunday
Santander - some branches will be open 7:00-17:00 on Saturday; closed on Sunday
SunTrust - some branches will be open 9:00-12:00 on Saturday; closed on Sunday
TD Bank - some branches will be open 9:00-14:00 on Saturday; closed on Sunday
Union Bank - some branches will be open 9:00-13:00 on Saturday; closed on Sunday
Wells Fargo - some branches will be open 10:00-15:00 on Saturday; closed on Sunday
It is advisable to call your local branch to find out what hours they will be open this weekend, if they open at all – but don’t be too surprised if no one picks up the phone. Even if your local branch is closed this weekend, you will still be able to access online and mobile banking services or withdraw cash from ATM machines if you need to. If you are transferring money, be aware that all operations will not be processed until banks reopen for business on Monday morning.
