Inter Miami full roster and transfers for MLS 2021
David Beckham's Inter Miami have drafted in several new players for the 2021 season as they look to vastly improve on their inaugural campaign in 2020, as well as new coach Phil Neville.
After a disappointing inaugural season in the MLS, Inter Miami will hope to make big improvements in 2021 under new coach, Phil Neville, who knows owner David Beckham very well from their playing days at Manchester United.
Even with two marquee signings with plenty of European club football experience in Blaise Matuidi and Gonzalo Higuain, both of whom joined mid-season, Miami could only manage a 10th-placed finish in in the Eastern Conference before losing in the play-in round of the playoffs.
Beckham is placing his faith in his former team mate Neville to turn things around this season, ahead of which the Florida-based franchise has signed several new players, including midfielder Gregore, who arrives from Brazilian club Bahia, right back Kelvin Leerdam, who joins from the Seattle Sounders after spending nine years in the Dutch league, and English defender Ryan Shawcross, who has signed from Stoke City.
Two of the new signings will arrive in July once the the European leagues have finished: Feyenoord goalkeeper Nick Marsman and West Brom defender Kieran Gibbs.
