NFL Draft 2021: time, TV and how to watch online

Cleveland, Ohio will play host to the 2021 NFL Draft. Attendance will be limited but the event can be followed from all over the country on Thursday night.

Cleveland, Ohio will play host to the 2021 NFL Draft. Attendance will be limited, and only a select few draft hopefuls will be present on Thursday night.

Last years NFL Draft was held via videoconference with the headquarters being broadcasted out of the commissioner’s home office. This year lightened Covid-19 restrictions will allow a limited forum for the festivities held in Cleveland, Ohio.

Cleveland is this years draft capital

A brand new outdoor facility has been constructed over the last few months just outside of FirstEnergy Stadium. It will be the hub of the draft capital over the next week as some of college football’s biggest stars await the biggest moment of their football lives.

There will only be a select few from this years draft class in attendance. There were a few invitations sent out to the 32 potential first round draft picks that will be announced on Thursday night.

The consensus top pick Trevor Lawrence is expected to watch the draft from home with his friends and family and will not be among the three quarterbacks that have confirmed their presence in Cleveland come draft day.

Limited number of fans will be allowed in the Draft Theater

The number of fans allowed in the Draft Theater will be limited to a viewing zone. A maximum of 5,000 fans will be allowed into the restricted venue, and will have to provide proof of vaccination before entering.

There will also be an interactive theme park dubbed the Draft Experience around FirstEnergy Stadium, which will be open and free to the public.

When, where and how to watch the NFL Draft

For those not lucky enough to be in Cleveland to attend, television coverage will start Thursday, April 29th at 8 pm ET, 5 pm PT.

Day one will feature the first 32 picks of this year’s draft. Rounds two and three will be held on Friday starting a 7 pm ET, and the the final four rounds will take place on Saturday at noon.

Coverage of the 2021 NFL Draft live will be broadcast over ABC, ESPN, NFL Network. It will also be streamed over the fuboTV, NFL app and ESPN app platforms.
