Ramos' agent meets Monchi: the photo that sparked new rumours
The bother and agent of Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos was pictured with Sevilla's sporting director on a café terrace, and social media lit up.

The image of René Ramos and Monchi in a Sevillian café has gone viral on social media and, unsurprisingly, has aroused some new suspicions on the future of the Real Madrid captain.
René may be Sergio’s agent, as well as his brother, and Sevilla's sporting director may be key to player recruitment at the LaLiga club but, as far as we are led to believe there meeting was not to discuss a possible signing of Los Blancos’ defender.
Real Madrid news:
- Mbappé names his two PSG conditions
- Beckham's Inter Miami to swoop for Marcelo
- Mbappé confirms he wants to go to the Tokyo Olympic Games
- Ødegaard says Real Madrid must decide about his future
- Allegri, Alaba, Mbappé or Haaland: the Madrid of tomorrow
Ramos unlikely to return to Sevilla
A much more plausible explanation lies in the fact that René also has two current Sevilla players among those he represents. Goalkeeper Juan Soriano, who was on loan at Málaga last season and could now leave the club for good, and Óscar Rodríguez, a midfielder who could leave on loan in the fast-approaching summer transfer window.

When it comes to Sergio, although he has given some hints to potentially returning to the club from where Madrid signed him all those years ago, his salary demands, even at this stage in his career are way beyond their means. Instead, some of the biggest clubs in the world are sniffing around the experienced and medal-laden defender, although Florentino Pérez has his own ideas too.
