AS and Fútbol Táctico have joined forces to create the Elite Soccer Congress, an online conference, presented in both Spanish and English, aimed at coaches in any sport, offering master classes from a world-class field of coaches, former players, physical trainers, sports psychologists, analysts, technical directors, managers and sporting directors of clubs and national sides from Europe and the Americas.
Marcelino, Juan Carlos Osorio, Diego Cocca, Rita Guarino, Roberto Sassi, Paco López, Joseba Arrasate, Carlos Carvalhal, Javier Bustos, Isaac Oriol, Paco Seirul-lo, André Tiago, Paco González, Carlos Inarejos, Juanjo Vila, Sergio González, Álvaro Benito, José Carlos Pérez Santos, Pedro Cerillo and Augusto César, among others, will be sharing their know-how, methods and tips with the Congress attendees, who will receive a diploma from the Universidad Europea. The Congress takes place on 9 and 10 June.
The experience of Fútbol Táctico, the global reach of AS
The Elite Soccer Congress brings together Fútbol Táctico, the leading online Spanish-language magazine for professional soccer and futsal, launched in 2007 and which offers specific editions for Argentina, Chile, Mexico, and Colombia; Diario AS and As.com, the official media partners of the event and leading outlets in the sporting press in Spain and the Americas; and the Universidad Europea, the academic institution certifying the 2021 edition of the course. The event will be presented by the journalist Ramón Fuentes, and will count on the participation of journalists from AS.
Fútbol Táctico boasts wide experience organising these kind of events, being involved in organising the International Football Congress in Valencia (2012), the World Congress of Football Coaches in Seville (2015), the International Carballo Congress (2016), and has published 139 monthly editions of its online magazine, as well as having given 5,500 courses, with more than 180,000 registered coaches.
Fútbol Táctico will stream the participants' sessions at the Congress, with the attendees at the Elite Soccer Congress (price €60, currently around $75) being able to watch live or up to 72 hours after the event in question. The ability to watch later on allows each attendee to follow the Congress as best suits them, in line with their schedule and the time zone of their country. The talks will each last 50 minutes with a 15-minute question and answer session.
Timetable for 9 and 10 June
The Elite Soccer Congress gets underway on 9 June at 9:30 am CEST (3:30 am ET) with the presentation of the event, being followed by talks until 8:30 pm CEST (2:30 pm ET).
