England vs Germany: live online, scores, stats and updates, Euro 2020
England and Germany will clash at Wembley Stadium in one of the most intriguing round of 16 matches of Euro 2020 on Tuesday evening.
As expected, The Three Lions finally topped Group D, while Joachim Löw’s men claimed the second spot in the tournament's group of death, where they played against France, Portugal and Hungary.
It has now been over 450 minutes since England last conceded a goal. Moreover, Gareth Southgate’s men go into the crucial match against the Germany on a nine-game unbeaten run across all competitions.
A battle of inconsistent teams
England will try to win the game inside 90 minutes, something which the Three Lions have so far never achieved in a European Championship knockout game.
Meanwhile, Germany lost 1-0 to France in their opening game, overwhelmed Portugal 4-2 in their second match, before securing a late 2-2 draw with Hungary that would see them through to the last 16.
The Mannschaft, who have advanced to the semi-final stage of the Euros three times in succession since the outgoing Low took the reins in 2006, will try to take advantage of their experience against a young England side.
The last time that Germany and England locked horns in a competitive match was back in the 2010 World Cup, a showdown that finished with a 4-1 win for the Germans.
