Fans force their way in
At Wembley, footage showed fans trying to force their way past barriers to get into the stadium. A spokesperson for Wembley Stadium said: "We are dealing with an incident that occurred at the outer security perimeter area of the stadium, with support from police.
"Safety measures were quickly activated in the relevant areas and there were no security breaches of people without tickets getting inside the stadium."
Southgate urges fans not to boo
England head coach Gareth Southgate has urged fans not to boo the Italian national anthem. "It's important that our fans always respect the opposition and we know that in fact when we play abroad and fans boo our anthem it probably inspires us even more, so I don't think it will help the team," Southgate said.
