This year is the Gold Cup's 60th anniversary, and the tournament has been held and hosted in 10 cities and at 11 stadiums throughout the United States.

Mexico has won the Gold Cup more than any other country, having won eight championships. There was no surprise that Mexico qualified once again for the tournament this year, and due to their strong roster and continued success, they have a great shot at taking home another trophy.

The United States Men's soccer team was considered the most likely contender to stop the Mexicans from retaining the title and they now have the chance to live up to that tag in the final. With stars of the MLS as well as top European leagues in their roster there is a confidence and belief that the US have everything in their locker to triumph.
