New York Fashion Week 2021: where to watch and stream online

With the NYFW underway there's a lot to watch out for, however, due to covid-19 and its capacity restrictions, many labels are livestreaming their shows.

A year after having been canceled by the global pandemic, NY Fashion Week is back in full force, however, this time with significantly fewer members of the public than we are used to seeing. Likewise, as reported by The New York Post, there will be certain shows which will not be available in-person and will only be viewable online, including Nicole Miller and Oscar de la Renta.

Check out the full schedule (dates and times) for all Fashion Week shows here.

Safety restrictions limit capacity for attendees

Having the chance to get to view the labels displays in person also means attendees will have to follow the strict measures IMG made public a month ago to ensure the safety of everyone, including models and designers.

Firstly, full-course vaccination programs will be required to enter Spring Studios, as well as mandatory masks.

In the same way, show capacity has been cut by more than 50 per cent, leaving a maximum number of 200 guests per show.

Where to watch?

New York Fashion Week will be in charge of broadcasting most labels live on its official website (nyfw.com) or the new nyfw app, CFDA Runway 360.

Among the most important brands which will air their shows live online as well as having in-person displays, we'll see Prabal Gurung, Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch, Coach, Jason Wu, Rodarte, Markarian, Staud and Brandon Maxwell.

However, not every firm is going to host in-person displays or have public livestreams. This is the case for the likes of Christian Siriano, Cynthia Rowley, Veronica Sept and French label Cinq á Sept.
